How to cook brown rice & quinoa

Follow the 6 simple steps below for fluffy brown rice with quinoa. 

Step 1

Add one cup of brown rice with quinoa (we used Sun Rice) to a strainer.

Step 2

Rinse under cold water.

Step 3

Add the rice to a saucepan with 2 cups of water.

Step 4

Bring to the boil, then place the lid on and turn the heat down.

Step 5

After 20 minutes, turn off the heat and leave to rest with the lid on. Then take off the lid and fluff the rice.

Step 6

Serve with something tasty like some broccolini with mushrooms in oyster sauce and grilled fish.
